Achievements

The Regional Police Training Center established in 1989 at Shiromani in the industrial city of Khulna is now the Police Training Centre, Khulna. Police Training Center, Khulna has been providing in-service training to policemen of various ranks including basic training of TRCs since its inception with the aim of building skilled manpower. The major achievements of the Police Training Center, Khulna in the last three years are as follows:

  • 2,201 Trainee Recruit Constables (TRC) have been imparted basic training in the last three years.
  •  623 SI(Unarmed) 01 one week refreshers course, 822 ASI (Unarmed) 01 one week Junior Leadership Course, 577 ASI (Armed) 01 one week Junior Leadership Course, 57 01 one week skill development course for Naik/Constables, skill development course to 97 policemen of various ranks, training of 30 trainers/officers in weapons and Skill development course on safe use and handling of weapons, 02-day inventory management course to 28 policemen, Security Patrolling & Monitoring (SP&M) course to 188 police officers, 06-day refresher course to enhance the skills of 170 field trainers, 56 Policemen were given National Sanitation Tactics Training, 30 Field Trainers were given Skill Development Course, 30 Naik/Constables were given Basic Policing and Arms Handling Tactics Training Course and 30 Forest personnel were given Firearms Training.
